The Sustainable Southwest Beef team studies the environmental and socioeconomic tradeoffs of Raramuri Criollo cattle, precision technologies, and beef supply chains originating on arid ranches of the Southwestern U.S. Ranchers, chefs, researchers, extension specialists, educators, and students are collaborating to develop a decision support dashboard and educate the next generation of producers and consumers.

We are seeking your input!

We invite you to take a short (5-10 minute) anonymous survey on information products to help guide the development of tools and resources to share research-based information relevant to the beef industry in the Southwest and Southern Plains, including this project’s research. Participation is completely voluntary. Click here to take the survey.

Funded by USDA National Institute of Food and Agriculture, Agriculture and Food Research Initiative’s Sustainable Agricultural Systems (SAS) program. Grant #2019-69012-29853.
