Besangie Sellars

Dr. Besangie Sellars joined OEIE in 2021 as a Research/Evaluation Associate. In her role, she supports the evaluation of various projects.

Besangie received a Ph.D. and M.A. in Developmental Psychology from the University of Michigan and a B.A. in Psychology from Hampton University. She also completed a postdoctoral fellowship focusing on multidisciplinary approaches to investigating psychosocial health inequities at the University of Pittsburgh. Her previous experience includes mixed-methods research and data analysis, and teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in psychology, human services, and statistics.
