Sajidur Rahman

Sajidur Rahman joined New Mexico State University in 2021 to pursue a MS degree in Computer Science. Sajidur holds a BS in Computer Science and Engineer from the International University, located in his native Bangladesh, and for the past 6 years has developed a very prolific productive career as a software engineer in Dhaka, Singapore and Myanmar. His leadership as a software engineer includes the coordination of international multidisciplinary engineering and computing teams, engineering of impactful IoT applications, and development of software and Apps that have focused primarily on providing human centered computing solutions for various end users and industries, including Agriculture. Sajidur is passionate about coding in Ruby, Python, C/C++ and JavaScript, that are among his preferred coding languages, and has a deep interest on deploying deep neural network modeling and solutions for privacy and security in Big Data projects. Sajidur is currently serves NMSU in the capacity of Specialized Software Engineer with the Department of Animal and Range Science, and his primary interest and involvement with the NMSU’s Sustainable Southwest Beef Cap is on the application of Modern Web Technologies for facilitation of Smart Dashboard and Server applications that would enable land managers and ranchers make better usage of extensive IoT sensor deployments and surveillance applications.
